Android has released its latest Android version 7.0 Nougat for Nexus devices. It will be available for more devices in upcoming days, including the LG V20 which will be the very first smartphone that comes with Android Nougat, out of the box.
Android Nougat 7.0 is different from all other android versions as Google took a never before approach to build it. In the first quarter of this year, they asked developers to take a sneak peak in Nougat in order to bring their apps to the platform earlier.
The new Android Version hosts more than 250 major features. Some of them are:
- Customization: More personal than over. Expanded emoji, quick settings controls, multi locale support
- More Productive: Multi window, direct reply, quick switch.
- Smart Battery: Doze feature is now more Dozier in Android Nougat
- More Secure: Seamless updates, direct boot, file-based encryption
