Facebook has launched a new standalone version of its popular messenger app for the slow internet connection. Facebook named it “Messenger Lite”. It is currently available for Android devices. It offers core features of Facebook Messenger app. People can quickly and easily send text, photos, and links to anyone Messenger Lite.

Now more people can stay connected with Messenger Lite, no matter how poor is their internet connection. It is a light weight app and does not require more than 10MB space. So it perfectly deals with the storage limitation issue on your Android devices too.
Messenger Lite is first reaching to people in Kenya, Tunisia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Venezuela. It will be available for other countries in upcoming months.
