On 15th August, Google launched a simple 1 to 1 video calling app called
Google Duo. This app is now available on
Google Play Store and Itunes Store for android and iOS.
This is, as claimed by Goolge, most simple video calling app so far. From UI to operating, the app is super easy. All it needs your phone number to reach people in your phone’s contact list. You don’t need to create a new account to use this Google Duo.
Google Duo is capable of working on slow network and can switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data automatically without dropping the call.
Another beautiful feature of Google App is “Knock Knock” which lets the user see live video before answering the call. It gives a sense to the receiver what the caller is up to and why he/she wants to chat.
